Amicus had asked the court that the following incorrect statement be removed from its opinion:
“Until the 1980’s, the Cabaret Law limited the number of musicians that could play in a Cabaret to three and specified the
types of instruments that could be played in a Cabaret.” See page __ of _________. Muchmore v. City of New York – Opinion re Motion on the Pleadings
The 1926 Law makes contains no such language, and any assertion by Plaintiff that the law contained such a provision was incorrect as can be seen by simply reading the opinion. See December 26, 1926 Cabaret Law As Enacted
